WATCH: Sen. Grassley delivers opening statements during hearing on Nassar abuse investigation

Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa gave statements on Sept. 15 before the Senate Judiciary Committee as lawmakers examine if the FBI mishandled its investigation of former USA Gymnastics doctor Larry Nassar, who was convicted in 2018 of sexually abusing women and young female athletes in his care. He said children suffered needlessly because the FBI neglected to share Nassar’s allegations with their counterparts at the state and local level.
