7. SOUNDBITE (English) Liz Oxford, town hall participant:

8. Gluesenkamp Perez on stage talking about SAVE ACT, then audience members replying
9. SOUNDBITE (English) Scott Salvner, town hall participant:
"I have a distinct issue with the congresswoman. First of all, when you call a bill, a train wreck bill like the Save Act was, and then you voted for it on two different occasions, calling it, oh, it’s not going to pass or I’m trying to get political capital. We don’t know that it’s going to not pass. It’s still in the Senate."
10. UPSOUND (English) Rep. Marie Glusenkamp Perez, D- Washington:
"I think there’s this kind of toxic narrative that like democracy is a consumer product that you can buy. It’s not, it is something that you make. It is something exists in all of us coming together, engaging in civil dialog about what it is that we really want. At the end of the day, what do we want? "

STORYLINE:
Tempers flared at a town hall hosted by Washington Democratic Rep. Marie Glusenkamp Perez on Tuesday, with one person taken away by police officers.
Glusenkamp Perez flipped a GOP stronghold in southwest Washington with a campaign that focused on bread-and-butter issues, held the first of several town halls Tuesday with voters in her district.
But the second-term congresswoman has run into opposition from Democratic voters because she has sided with Republicans on several issues in D.C. and that was apparent at her town hall in a community college in Centralia with several outbursts from people in the audience.
