A third round of talks about a new nuclear deal between Tehran and Washington has begun in Oman. Iranian State TV showed its delegation in Muscat and announced the negotiations started mid-day. Officials from both sides are expected to hold in-depth discussions over how to limit Iran’s nuclear program – in exchange for the lifting of some of the crushing economic sanctions the US has imposed on the Islamic Republic. Niloofar Gholami from DW’s Persian Service explains what Iran wants out of these talks.
