STORYLINE:
Mayor Daniel Lurie, a political newcomer and Levi Strauss heir, unseated incumbent London Breed last November, spending nearly $10 million of his own money.
He vowed to restore trust in government after years of high-profile homelessness, open drug use, and downtown decline.
Now 100 days in office, Lurie says he’s focused on cleaner streets and helping people off them.
