Kia has continued its winning streak on the global stage.
The South Korean automaker has once again taken top honours at the World Car Awards.
STORYLINE
The all-electric Kia EV3 has claimed the top prize at the 2025 World Car of the Year awards, announced during the New York Auto Show.
It edged out the Hyundai Inster and BMW X3 for the title.
"It’s a complete validation of everything the company has been working on in terms of electrification and that we can build electric cars for all markets," says Steven Center, Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President for Kia America, after receiving the award.
This marks the fourth consecutive World Car of the Year title for South Korean manufacturers, following wins by the Kia EV9 in 2024, Hyundai Ioniq 6 in 2023, and Hyundai Ioniq 5 in 2022.
