STORYLINE:
Chinese leader Xi Jinping is making the case for free trade as he tours Southeast Asia this week, presenting China as a source of “stability and certainty."
He arrived in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia’s capital, Tuesday, for a three-day visit and will end his tour with a stop in Cambodia.
Malaysia’s Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim met President Xi and said his country would work with China on several topics, including AI initiatives.
