A terrifying cable car accident claimed the lives of at least four people in Italy. Authorities say a cable snapped on the cable system bearing cars near Monte Faito. That brought cars going in both directions to a halt. Rescuers were able to save nine people in the downward-traveling car. But the upward-traveling car crashed to the ground. In addition to the fatalities, there was at least one person severely injured.
