1. SOUNDBITE (English) Simone Missick and David Oyelowo, actors:
Oyelowo: " I very much agree. I’m someone who has had the privilege of doing several films that are set in this time period but they are often steeped in the challenges of being a Black person in America and to have something like this that that is that time period but is celebratory of family without shying away from the challenges of family, something that feels incredibly relatable regardless of demographic and I hear what you’re saying and I couldn’t agree more about the times that we’re in to be able to escape into something that you can both relate to but also escape into I think is always going to be valid but maybe more so now than most other times."
