STORYLINE:
Russian and U.S. diplomats met on Thursday for another round of talks in Istanbul on improving diplomatic ties.
Russia’s Ambassador to the U.S., Aleksandr Darchiyev and U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State, Sonata Coulter led the negotiations at Russia’s Istanbul consulate, officials said.
The discussions ended after six hours without statements from the delegations, the Tass and RIA Novosti state news agencies reported.
The first round of talks took place in February.
