STORYLINE:
Mourners held Muslim funeral prayers Wednesday for 10 people killed in two separate Israeli strikes overnight in southern Gaza.
The attacks occurred in the Muwasi area, west of the city of Khan Younis, and the dead included two women and children, officials said.
The dead were brought to the Nasser hospital in Khan Younis.
Relatives gathered in the hospital’s courtyard where they held funeral prayers before the bodies were taken away to be buried in a nearby cemetery.
The dead were among more than 30 people killed by a series of Israeli strikes across Gaza in the past 24 hours, according to the health ministry.
