European countries have pledged an additional 21-Bbillion euros of military aid for Ukraine. The promises came at a meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group in Brussels. The US has played a leading role in the forum since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. But that’s been scaled back since President Donald Trump moved into the White House. US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth made a last-minute appearance by video link.
