"My Mom Jayne" is a new documentary that Law & Order: SVU star Mariska Hargitay is calling the "search for the mother I knew." Hargitay was 3 years old when her mother, Jayne Mansfield, was killed at age 34 in a violent car crash on a rural road in New Orleans. Her chauffeur, 19-year-old Ronald Harrison, was also killed. In the new documentary, Hargitay says she will explore her own childhood trauma that resulted from the crash. Hargitay was in the back seat during the crash and survived.
