Germany’s conservatives and Social Democrats have reached a deal to form a coalition government. The party leaders presented the details of the coalition agreement. At a press conference in Berlin, Germany’s chancellor-in-waiting Friedrich Merz said the coalition has a strong plan to make Germany stable, safer and economically stronger. Talks between the conservatives and the center-left SPD began soon after the election in February.
