1. 00:00 SOUNDBITE: (English) Enzo Maresca, Chelsea head coach:
"We need also to learn and to play in the way we played in the last 10 minutes (to) win a game in a dirty way because I think for 90 minutes until the extra time, we were in control and we created enough chances to win the game. We created enough chances in the first half. Then to be honest, it has been my mistake because I did the change (taking off Cole Palmer and Enzo Fernandez) before I saw the extra time (at the end of the second half) and when I saw that it was 12 minutes, I thought it was probably too early to make that kind of change. But, fortunately we won the game and we are happy."
2. 00:36 SOUNDBITE: (English) Enzo Maresca, Chelsea head coach (on Cole Palmer):
"I think Cole Palmer’s performance tonight was very similar to the rest of the performances (before the international break). The only difference is that in the previous performances (before the break), he didn’t score, he didn’t assist and because he’s a top player – and probably the best player we have – every time he doesn’t score or doesn’t assist, it’s news. But, for me, it’s something normal. I’ve said many times that we can’t rely on Cole every game. We cannot expect Cole every game scoring or assisting. Tonight the assist for Enzo (Fernandez) was a top assist. Enzo was in the right position so very happy for them."
