A roof collapsed at a popular discotheque in the Dominican Republic, killing at least 15 people and injuring at least 70. It happened in the capital city of Santo Domingo. Crews searched through the rubble of the Jet Set club, looking for survivors. It’s estimated that some 300 people were in the building at the time of the collapse. Among those injured was Rubby Perez. The well-known merengue singer was performing at the venue when the accident happened.
