STORYLINE:
George Clooney is making his Broadway debut.
The Academy-award winning actor celebrated opening night of "Good Night, and Good Luck," Thursday night in New York.
The Broadway play, written by Clooney and Grant Heslov, is based on the 2005 film and tells the story of the conflict between journalist Edward R. Murrow (Clooney) and U.S. senator Joseph McCarthy. Clooney directed the 2005 film and also co-wrote the screenplay with Heslov.
