Spring has sprung and tulip mania is once again attracting social media trendsetters to the Netherlands’ world famous garden to see them.
Around 7 million tulips are expected to bloom at the Keukenhof Gardens creating a kaleidoscope of colour to brighten up social media feeds.
STORYLINE:
The Dutch have been dazzled by these tulips since they were first imported to the Netherlands from central Asia in the 17 century.
Now people from around the world come here to see them – and be seen, especially social media influencers looking for bright bloom like these to catch the eyes of browsers.
The Keukenhof is the perfect spot, with specially created giant clogs, floral archways, and pink velvet couches for people to pose and pout.
It may be early spring, but these tulip fields just a short trip from Amsterdam are literally blooming.
It’s almost impossible to walk past without taking a selfie.
They’re trending on social media websites attracting visitors like Austrian lawyer Daniel Magnus.
It’s not Magnus’ first trip here, he and his friends say they couldn’t stay away.
