4. SOUNDBITE (Korean) Kim Mi Soo, Yoon supporter:
"We have been led to believe South Korea was being run in the frame of liberal democracy. But through the President’s martial law, we learned the system was in danger. We are here to protect liberal democracy and to do so the impeachment must be overturned. We are here to draw out the verdict."
5. Various of anti-Yoon protesters
6. SOUNDBITE (Korean) Choi Jae Hak, Yoon protester:
"On December 3, Yoon Suk Yeol’s rebellion was broadcast live. I think at least 3 billion people out of 7 billion watched the scenes on televisions. The evidence is clear but the motive in ambiguous. He (Yoon) declared martial law based on his false beliefs. Everything including the declaration and procedure, was unconstitutional. Therefore, when judged both legally and in terms of the rule of law, I expect 8:0 in favor of impeachment."

STORYLINE:
South Korea’s Constitutional Court will rule Friday on whether to formally dismiss or reinstate impeached President Yoon Suk Yeol — a decision that either way will likely deepen domestic divisions.
The court has been deliberating his political fate after conservative Yoon was impeached by the liberal opposition-controlled National Assembly in December over his brief imposition of martial law that has triggered a massive political crisis.
On Tuesday, hours after the court announced the date, the street in front of the court was split into two.
Yoon supporters stood in front of the court and demanded an immediate reinstatement.
On the other side, Yoon’s opponents held a small rally, demanding the termination of Yoon’s presidential powers.
