"As a woman who wears a scarf as I wear my hijab. When I leave the house, yes, at times, I do feel nervous. I feel comfortable at times. But overall I would say like I’m grateful that I’m allowed to wear this scarf. I’m allowed to be unapologetically Muslim. So I’m really grateful for that."

STORYLINE:
Muslims around the world bid farewell to the Islamic holy month of Ramadan celebrating the holiday of Eid al-Fitr.
Eid is typically greeted with joy and excitement and is marked with congregational prayers and festivities that usually include family visits, gatherings, outings, and new clothes.
"This is one of the best Ramadan." IQBAL Ahmed said. Surrounded by grandkids, families, and friends in the family’s house in Fort Bend County, Texas.
The 76-year-old aircraft maintenance technician reflects on his nearly fifty years since migrating from Myanmar.
"Let me put in one word. I’m happy. I’m healthy. I put it together. We are wealthy." he said.
