Israel’s PM Netanyahu to visit Hungary despite ICC arrest warrant | DW News

Despite an international warrant for his arrest, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is traveling to Budapest today to meet Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.

Areas of the city centre were cordoned off ahead of the visit, which is expected to last four days and is a sign of the close relationship between the two leaders. Hungary is a member of the International Criminal Court, but Orban has vowed to disregard the arrest warrant issued by the ICC for Netanyahu in November related to the war in Gaza.
