(10 Aug 1975) 7532: PORTUGAL: WHICH WAY THE REVOLUTION?
The Portuguese revolution is in trouble. The Army is
playing an increasingly political role and is meeting

North – from people who feel it is pushing the country

in last April’s elections. There is trouble abroad too, in
Angola, the African colony soon to become independent.
This report backgrounds the main issues and personalities.
