The killer of Latin singing legend Selena has been denied parole. In a statement, Selena’s family says, "This decision reaffirms that justice continues to stand for the beautiful life that was taken from us and from millions of fans around the world far too soon. It has been 30 years since Selena was gunned down in Texas by the president of her fan club. A jury found Yolanda Saldivar guilty of first-degree murder. Now 64, Saldivar still insisted the shooting was an accident.
