Rescue workers in Myanmar and Thailand are scrambling to find survivors hours after a 7.7 magnitude earthquake hit the centre of Myanmar.
At least 144 people have been killed in Myanmar and hundreds more are injured, an army general there says, with neighbouring countries also feeling the effects of the earthquake.
In Thailand, an unfinished high-rise collapsed in Bangkok, leaving 83 construction workers unaccounted for, according to the Thai deputy prime minister – seven have also been confirmed killed.
