Newly released bodycam footage shows police arriving at the Santa Fe home of Gene Hackman and his wife, Betsy Arakawa, where both were found dead. Police found one of the couple’s German shepherds watching over Arakawa. Authorities believe that 65-year-old Arakawa died first from hantavirus. The 95-year-old Hackman, who had advanced Alzheimer’s, lived another week before dying of chronic heart disease. One of their three dogs was also found dead inside the house.
