But she’s like, she evokes this magic that, again, is this beautiful dance of strength and empathy that we as creatives look for in a star. And I said, the studio is killing me. I need to pick a Giselle by tonight. And Paloma said, that’s your Giselle. And looked at Gal. And next thing you know, she was flying to L.A. and we screen test and the rest was history.”

She’s the most wonderful, kind, gracious person. What a gift to have someone like that embody a hero that I care so much about Wonder Woman.”

STORYLINE:
Gal Gadot was joined by her famiy, Vin Diesel and Patty Jenkins as she received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Tuesday. Pro-Palestinian protesters attempted to disrupt the event from across the street as Gadot became the first Israeli actor to receive a star.
"To all the young women out there, the young people, especially young girls watching – if a girl from Rosh HaAyin can get a star at the Hollywood Boulevard, everything is possible,” said the 39-year-old actor.
Dozens of protesters showed up during the ceremony carrying pro-Palestinian signs. The protesters could be heard chanting throughout the ceremony and were confronted by pro-Israel counterprotesters.
