Europe is planning a massive hike in defense spending to counter the threat from Russia and Germany is leading the way. On Friday, the German Bundesrat or Federal Council gave the green light to an almost unlimited increase in defense spending. All of this comes a day after the European Union agreed to hike defense spending by €800 billion. Huge sums of money.
