Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese called on Israel and Hamas to "respect the ceasefire and hostage release deal". His comments came after Israel launched a wave of airstrikes across the Gaza Strip on early Tuesday, saying it was hitting Hamas targets in its heaviest assault in the territory since a ceasefire took effect in January.
