Watch live from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California as SpaceX launches NASA’s newest space telescope. Spherex aims to explain how galaxies formed and evolved over billions of years, and how the universe expanded so fast in its first moments. Besides the telescope, SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket will provide a lift for a quartet of NASA satellites called Punch, that will observe the sun’s corona, or outer atmosphere, and the resulting solar wind.
