EU countries discuss whether they can hand over frozen Russian assets to Ukraine | DW News

With the US flip-flopping on its support for Kyiv, the EU is looking for ways to ensure Ukraine can defend itself against Russia. Some European countries are calling for hundreds of billions of euros in frozen Russian assets — which are being held as part of a package of sanctions against Russia — to be handed over to the Ukrainian government.
