Greenlanders are voting in elections dominated by US President Donald Trump’s threats to take over the territory. The issue of independence has been looming large throughout the campaign as some politicians argue that it’s time for the semi-autonomous territory of Denmark to finally break away. But while many Greenlanders have supported the fight for sovereignty for years, some are fearful of becoming pawns in a much larger geo-political game.
