Washington – 4 March 2025
1. SOUNDBITE (English) Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, (R) Georgia:
"Well, you know, what would be important is for (Canadian) Prime Minister (Justin) Trudeau to focus on the fentanyl problem and the cartels who are producing fentanyl in Canada. And we hope that he steps up and secures the border and protects Americans lives. There’s 200 to 300 Americans that die every single day from fentanyl. President Trump is very serious about protecting Americans and stopping the cartels."

3. SOUNDBITE (English) Rep. Nancy Mace, (R) South Carolina:
"Well, obviously everything he’s (Elon Musk) doing with DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency) those right now is pretty incredible. And sometimes just the small fixes, like some of the payments that they’re making at Treasury, he tweeted about either today or yesterday, how they’re categorizing them. He’s going to save the country billions, if not more dollars. And I want to applaud him for the effort that he’s made, the transparency, showing the waste, the fraud and the abuse."
