"Our AI agent is GUI (graphical user interface) based and it can intelligently take action on your behalf, so you can simplify the complicated tasks that you ask for. So for example, we have just demoed before we can use our AI agent to easily make a restaurant reservation with a single command. So it’s quite easy and simple."

STORYLINE:
Chinese smartphone manufacturer Honor has a new AI agent which can do all sorts of tasks for you.
The AI agent is already available on Honor devices in China, and is expected to be rolled out globally later this year.
Honor’s agent can book a restaurant for you: it listens for the type of food, number of people, date , time and even distance from your current location.
Then it autonomously enters those parameters into a booking app.

“We can use our AI agent to easily make a restaurant reservation with a single command. So it’s quite easy and simple."
So no need to trawl through websites to find the right place to eat.
Just turn up at the place you phone books for you.
The only decision you have to make is what to order from the menu.
MWC 2025 opens on 3 March and runs until 6 March.
The tech show began as a showcase for the mobile phone industry but has expanded to cover a range of technology, from established global giants to innovative start-ups.
