For a second consecutive time, SpaceX is picking up the pieces after a launch ended in explosive fashion. The new ‘Starship’ spacecraft is designed to carry Elon Musk’s Starlink satellites into orbit in far greater quantities than his existing fleet. The success of the new rocket could be worth billions in space cargo contracts. Meanwhile, Tesla recorded its worst month since 2022, with shares plunging 28% in February – coinciding with Elon Musk’s first full month in White House.
