"We came on Saturday, and they kept procrastinating, as is usual with the occupation. In the end, they shocked us with the news at around 1:30 that it was postponed. I didn’t want to leave and stayed with the hope that we would hear good news on Sunday. But it didn’t happen, thank God it happened today."

They threaten us with death, but we didn’t leave our homes except for the sake of our people’s freedom. Death has never scared us. If death had frightened us, we would never have left our homes."

"From Saturday until today it feels like a year has passed, it has been very difficult for the family, for my mother in Jordan who is waiting, for part of the family in the West Bank, and part of the family in Jordan are waiting. We have no clear or correct news about where Azeddine is. The intelligence played with us, trying to break our spirits, to weaken us, to make us cry, but by God’s will, we will remain strong. We are still strong. I currently don’t know about Azeddine—has he been deported? Has he been released? Did he refuse to be deported? I don’t have any information to share, but thank God, we trust that by God’s will, he will return, despite everything."
