The trees in Kawazu town are an early flowering variety, with peak flowering season expected in early March. In Tokyo, about 230 cherry trees including Yoshino cherry trees are planted along the greenway, stretching from Yasukuni-dori Avenue to Kitanomaru Garden near the Imperial Palace. They are expected to be start flowering later in March.
