Florida’s Lee County Sheriff’s Department says deputies were called out to a Smash Fitness after someone drove into the gym’s windows then ran away on foot. The vehicle matched the description of a van that had been stolen in a carjacking that same day. K9 Dundee was dispatched with his handler to find the suspect. The suspect was apprehended while hiding in the bushes. The suspect was charged with carjacking, driving under the influence, property damage, and leaving the scene of a crash.
