"Nothing about Ukraine can be decided without Ukraine, and that’s how it should be. And that’s what we are calling for.. it’s our state, it’s not just a territory. We forget about human dimension, but those are the children of Ukraine, their mothers and fathers who have been fighting for this land and their life and their freedom. It’s up to them to decide what’s our future for our children should look like."

STORYLINE:
Interfaith leaders offered their prayers at a Ukrainian church in London on Monday, marking the third anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
Ukraine’s ambassador to the UK Valerii Zaluzhnyi was among the attendees of the hourlong service.
"For three years we have been fighting not just for our land but for freedom and justice," said Zaluzhnyi, a former commander-in-chief of Ukraine’s armed forces.
The anniversary was marked as U.S. policies on Russia and Ukraine shift dramatically under President Donald Trump.
Questions about possible peace talks and Ukraine’s interest in European Union and NATO membership loom large.
"Nothing about Ukraine can be decided without Ukraine, and that’s how it should be," said executive director for St Mary’s Ukrainian School, Inna Hryhorovych, who attended the service.
Britain has imposed sanctions on 107 businesses and individuals in what it says is its biggest package targeting Russia’s war machine since the early days of the conflict in 2022.
The measures announced Monday target Russia’s military supply chains, including companies in several countries — notably China — that Britain says are supplying machine tools, electronics and dual-use goods for Russia’s military.
