US President Donald Trump is about to host Ukraine’s leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy to sign a minerals deal. The deal will grant the US access to the embattled nation’s rare minerals. Kyiv hopes it will cement US financial interest in supporting Ukraine’s independence. Trump has praised the deal, saying a step to a ceasefire will come next.
