STORYLINE:
Enzo Maresca insists his Chelsea squad need to embrace the pressure that has come with a recent run of poor form, saying he is as determined as ever "to bring this club where this club deserves to be."
Heading into Saturday’s trip to Aston Villa, Chelsea have suffered four defeats and won just two of their last nine Premier League games, which has led to ‘The Blues’ dropping out of the top four.
Insisting that the squad will be better players when they have come through this tricky run, the Italian said: "My intention is to win games, to win titles," adding: "I am ambitious, the club is ambitious."
Saturday’s opponents have also struggled to find their best form recently, going without a win in five league games, but Maresca believes his Villa counterpart Unai Emery is "probably one of the best managers."
