"And there I would have to say that President Trump has presented a bold new vision. And the only plan that I think can work to enable a different future for the people of Gaza. For the people of Israel, for the surrounding areas. Why not give Gazans a choice? Everybody says this is the largest open air prison in the world. Not because of us. We let people leave. In fact, if you want to know, over the last couple of two years, I think 150,000 Gazans left. You know how they left? Because they bribed their way out, and not to us. They bribed their way out. The rich could leave, but if other people wanted to leave, give them a choice. Not forcible eviction, not ethnic cleansing. In a war zone, people leave. We tried to get the population to leave to get them out of harm’s way. And Hamas with rifles, with gunfire, try to prevent them from leaving. So we moved them around so that they would get out of harm’s way. But if people want to leave, if they want to emigrate, it’s their choice. And I think President Trump’s plan is right on the dot. It’s the right plan."

"So Iran is not merely a threat to us. It’s a threat to their people, but they are a threat to Israel, a threat to every country in the region and a threat beyond our region, because they’re the greatest sponsor of terror in the world. The greatest threat that Iran poses as this decrepit regime would achieve nuclear weapons. And we are committed, as President Trump has said many times and as Secretary (Marco) Rubio said today, we are committed that Iran never gets nuclear weapons. That’s a common goal. One that’s important not only for the security of Israel and the security of America, but I think for the security of the world."

"The greatest threat against Israel is, of course, Iran and its nuclear ambitions and the Iran axis that we’ve smashed. But we have to take care of this larger threat, but not an equal threat, but not far below down the list is the ICC’s effort to strangle the ability of our soldiers and our statesmen to defend the country. They will determine if we can fight, whether we can fight, they can arrest our soldiers. They can arrest of our leaders at any point. And this is as debilitating as many other things that are directed against us. We have to fight. But it’s not just directed against us. It’s directed against the United States, is directed against all the democracies."

STORYLINE:
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday signaled that he was moving ahead with U.S. President Donald Trump’s proposal to transfer the Palestinian population out of Gaza, calling it the "right plan".
Speaking to the 50th anniversary of the Conference of Presidents, an umbrella group of dozens of American Jewish organisations, Netanyahu praised Trump’s "bold new vision" for Gaza and said Israel would help civilians leave the war-ravaged Gaza Strip.
