Israeli forces have withdrawn from border villages in southern Lebanon ahead of a deadline in the US-brokered ceasefire with Hezbollah militants.
But Israel is maintaining its hold over five strategic overlook locations within Lebanon. Lebanese leaders have denounced the continued presence as occupation and say it violates the truce.
