"We knew that there was a muscular problem, but we didn’t we didn’t know how important it was. Because he is feeling his reaction was quite good. So we all think, we all saw that was not a big injury, but unfortunately he had the scan a few days ago. This is an important one and will be around six, eight weeks."

STORYLINE:
Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca has confirmed Nicolas Jackson’s injury is worse than first thought and the forward is expected to be sidelined until April.
It’s the latest injury blow in a long line, that includes forward Marc Guiu, defenders Wesley Fofana and Benoit Badiashile, and midfielder Romeo Lavia.
Christopher Nkunku is now expected to shoulder all of the responsible of the No.9 role, but Maresca says they will work on other solutions to fill their injury gaps.
