It is important for me today to focus on the practical work of the team of Ukraine and the team of the United States of America on a common vision, preferably of the main things. Of course, there may be different opinions, but a common vision of the main things – of how to stop Putin (Russian President Vladimir Putin) and how to give guarantees of security to Ukraine and Ukrainians.”

“This week, we are expecting some serious people from President Trump’s team in Ukraine before the Munich conference. Then there will be the Munich conference. I will have a number of meetings there with the vice president, and there will be meetings with President Trump’s team. My team will have separate meetings, conversations, work, let’s say. And after that it will be productive work in Ukraine with colleagues from the United States of America. Also, our teams are working on our dialogue of our meeting between President Trump. He talked about it. It seems to me that this is no secret. The question is – when it is going to happen, when will it be possible for both parties, and if they’re communicating – we’ll see who, how and if it is true."

"There really is, it seems to me, a very good offer for people who want to conscript themselves for one year on a contract. Yes, they can continue further if they want. But this is a contract for a year, a contract for a year. And in the next days, tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, the next two or three days, all the details will already be official. And some details are that a person will be able to have, in addition to everything, one million hryvnias. And besides this, they will be able to choose a university without any exams after this year at war. Higher educational institutions will be for free, the state will pay for everything."

"Ukraine is obviously our top priority right now. Our commitment to Ukraine is unwavering and the European Investment Bank is one of the main, if not the main, investment partner to the country right now. And I want to thank you Mr President, because the cooperation with your government is absolutely excellent. We have accelerated the deployment of these projects on the ground, and I’m happy that today we have been able to sign agreements to mobilise around 1 (B) billion euros in investment in the public sector and in the private sector, including investments as you said, for critical infrastructures and energy infrastructures."
