"With a ballooning roster size, I’m only the only human and I need help. And instead of giving me a human to help, they’ve said, ‘Well, we’re Animal Planet,’ – which is the main network, its, you know, originated on – ‘we’re going to give you animals’. So I’ve had a skunk as an assistant referee. They thought it was cute because the stripes on the skunk matched the stripes on my uniform. Okay. The skunk was useless. I mean, you know, really interesting. Not the best friend in the locker room, really, you know, it really kept a very messy locker and not serious about the game at all. They gave me a sloth another year. This is all true. This is all out there online somewhere. Sloth was like this, obviously the slowest moving referee missed every single call. Last year. They said, well, let’s give you a dog. Since it is ‘Puppy Bowl’ will showcase one more adoptable dog. This dog was so freaking cute. But again, terrible at refereeing."
