"Most of the farmers are used to the normal way, the farmer practice of applying fertilizer without knowing that it is a trial and error method for them to harvest. But for the few farmers who came and used the technology of iSDA, they are making follow up calls to use the Virtual Agronomist again because of the success story they are seeing on their plot."

"Ever since my soil was tested by iSDA in 2024, I have noticed a difference with the previous years since I started rice farming 40 years ago. After my soil was tested my iSDA, I have seen a difference because where I used to harvest 28 bags of rice, I harvested 30 bags of rice after using Virtual Agronomist because they advised on the type of fertilizer I should use."

"The idea is that you want to capture real time information from the ground. So that’s where the drones and the sensors would come in or you could actually use satellite imagery. So for Virtual Agronomist for example, we have actually used satellite data and that’s why in Virtual Agronomist, the first thing the farmer does is they actually share the location. From that point, that location data goes to the system and we are able to actually estimate the level of NPK (Nitrogen,Phosphorus and Potassium) and pH of the soil."
