“The situation in prison is more difficult than you can imagine. They practiced all kinds of rough and violent acts against us, all kinds of pressure, and I am sure you know and that you have received news of the martyrdom of many of our imprisoned brothers due to this behavior during the war on Gaza.”

“First, I ask God to have mercy on him and all the martyrs of Gaza. Frankly, we are proud of the role played by Mohammed Deif, may God have mercy on him. We are proud of Mohammed Deif and we are proud of all the people of Gaza, and we are proud of all the resistance. The feeling of his death was unbelievable when we heard the news.”

“It is true that the news of his martyrdom is shocking, painful and sad news, but the resistance has never been orphaned. Those who have led the resistance, such as our brother Abu Khalid al-Deif, Sheikh Abu Ibrahim, Yahya Sinwar, and his brothers the leaders, the resistance will not be orphaned, but the axis of the resistance will be orphaned. We have lost dozens of martyrs before them from our brothers the leaders, but thanks be to God we have continued (resistance).”

“Abu Khalid (another name for al-Deif) is our father, he is our leader. When we say our father, he is our father, he is our leader, he is our sheikh, in every sense of the word. The news pains our hearts, but our consolation is that he is a martyr for this nation, a martyr for this world.”
