We set out on an unplanned journey together, and proved to ourselves the power of family, and what is the strength of faith, and that together anything is possible. And you Agam are our superhero, lucky that you are mine, with God’s help, take whatever you want, who will refuse you, take the whole world, who can say no to you.”

STORYLINE:
The father of released Israeli hostage Agam Berger thanked Friday U.S. President Donald Trump for what he described as his "generosity and leadership" in securing a ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas.
Shlomi Berger said families of the hostages would always remember the "care" provided by Trump towards them, adding that he pushed everyone to "do the right thing".
Agam Berger, 20, was among five young female soldiers abducted when militants overran the Nahal Oz military base in the Hamas-led attack on Oct. 7, 2023, killing over 60 soldiers there.
The other four were released Saturday.
Agam’s mother Merav Berger stressed that importance of releasing the remaining hostages.
The exchange of hostages for prisoners is a key part of a ceasefire agreement aimed at ending the deadliest and most destructive war ever fought between Israel and Hamas.
Fifteen hostages and hundreds of prisoners have been released so far, and militants still hold dozens more hostages abducted in their Oct. 7, 2023, attack that ignited the war.
The Berger family was reunited at a specially prepared reception area in a military base near the Gaza border.
From the military base, Berger was flown to a hospital in central Israel, where her parents spoke to media.
