Outside the morgue at Goma’s North Kivu Provincial Hospital on Monday, Red Cross workers piled bodies into a large truck. It followed Rwanda-backed M23 rebels claiming control of the strategic eastern Congolese city a week ago after taking several surrounding towns in January.
