Venezuela frees 6 Americans after visit from US envoy | DW News

Venezuela has freed six US citizens after a meeting between President Nicolas Maduro and Donald Trump’s special envoy in Caracas. The two countries are holding their first official talks since Trump took office. Envoy Richard Grenell also urged Maduro to take back more than 400 Venezuelan gang members currently in US custody. Maduro says the talks mark a ‘new beginning’ in relations.
