Out of humanitarian spirit, China has provided support for the United States in dealing with the fentanyl issue, conducted extensive and in-depth anti-drug cooperation with the US and achieved significant results, which is obvious to all. We hope that the US side will take practical actions to maintain the good situation of the anti-drug cooperation between China and the US.”

“It was an authoritative and scientific conclusion reached by the China-WHO joint expert group that leakage from a laboratory was extremely unlikely, on the basis of field visits to the relevant laboratories in Wuhan and in-depth exchanges with the relevant researchers. It has been widely recognized by the international and the scientific communities. The US side should stop politicizing and instrumentalizing the origin tracing and stop smearing and blaming other countries. It should respond to the reasonable concerns of the international community as soon as possible, take the initiative to share with WHO the data on early suspected cases in its own country, and clarify the doubts on the bio-laboratories related to the US, so as to give the people of the world a responsible explanation.”
